The 2026 NAME Foundation Business Meeting will be held Friday 16 October 2026 at 4:30-5:00 pm Central in Empire A, Mezzanine level. This will be just prior to the International reception and the Welcome Dinner. All Foundation members and anyone with an interest in the Foundation are encouraged to attend.

Please join us in celebrating the remarkable 100th birthday of Dr. Thomas Noguchi, a distinguished and longtime member of NAME since 1969.

Dr. Noguchi has made extraordinary contributions to NAME, serving on the Board of Directors from 1975–1980, as Vice President in 1981, and as President in 1982. Throughout his career, he has also chaired and served on numerous committees, demonstrating an enduring commitment to the organization and the forensic pathology community.

In 1967, Dr. Noguchi was appointed Chief Medical Examiner-Coroner for Los Angeles County, California, where he became internationally recognized for his work determining the cause and manner of death in numerous high-profile Hollywood cases.

Please join us as we honor and celebrate a century of Dr. Noguchi’s life, leadership, service, and remarkable contributions to forensic medicine.

On behalf of the NAME Foundation Board of Trustees, we would like to announce the 11^th annual evening NAME Foundation Thomas Noguchi, MD Lecture, to be presented in conjunction with the NAME Annual Meeting in Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday, October 17^th from 8 to 10 PM. We are honored to present Chief of Police Mr. Chris Anderson of Talladega College as the guest speaker for the Thomas Noguchi MD Lecture. Mr. Anderson is a retired homicide detective from Birmingham, AL. With almost 30 years of law enforcement experience, he became a highly respected homicide investigator, solving more than 92% of his cases with a 100% conviction rate. He appeared on the 1st 48, and he had a show on the Discovery channel, Reasonable Doubt. He is the author of The Case: Kayla’s Investigation, a non-fiction book which reached #6 on Amazon’s Best-Seller list. Join the Foundation for another educational, interesting, and exciting evening!

Please note that this year attendance is FREE to ALL NAME Annual Meeting attendees. You will be required to wear your meeting name badge.
